The Vietnamese Dan Da belongs to the Schubert Club of Minnesota and is a replica of one of the world's oldest surviving instruments (6-3,000 years old).

Philip was interviewed about life as an environmental sound artist and composer by Frank Stasio at WUNC radio in Raleigh, NC on June 28, 2007.
